A summer full of fun...

Scott and I bought a boat in July. Although it's quite old, it is in excellent condition. We have fun tubing up at Maiden Lake and hope to share it with more friends and family in the future.

A Snowshoe Filled Winter...

Later in February, I competed in the Book Across the Bay snowshoe race. It was a 6.2 mile race starting in Ashland and going across the bay of Lake Superior to Washburn. The weather was perfect and it was beautiful to run under the stars with the candles to light the way, and fireworks at the finish line. Will definitely do it again!

In early February, I finished 3rd in my age group in the Athens Snowshoe race. It was a bit longer than Perkinstown, but much flatter. Scott and Ricky took 3rd in the log sawing competition, in which they won a block of cheese!

Scott finished his first snowshoe race ever at the 2010 Perkinstown Snowshoe Race back in January. Although it was very tiring, it was a lot of fun!

My varsity players at the "Rally for a Cure" breast cancer tournament back in October. They raised over $1500!

Friends and I at the 2009 Disco Cures Cancer event. We had a great time supporting a wonderful cause!

4th of July at the cabin

Jess is home from China for a few weeks and it was really nice to be able to spend time with her and the rest of the family up at the cottage all weekend. Here we are, decked out in Brewer apparel, for the pontoon parade!

Back in action...

I created this blog over two years ago for my grad program, but never went back to update it. So many of my friends now have blogs, which I find to be a lot of fun to browse through, so I thought I would try my best to keep one updated about what's going on in our lives!
